Correctional Claims Services

**Effective 1/1/26 Millette Administrators is implementing a new claims system. Providers must access a new provider portal for claim status. Any claims received after 12/5/25 will be located on the new provider portal/system.**

Millette Administrators is a third-party medical claims processor for county jails and state prisons.

For VitalCore accounts, you must contact them for all authorizations, eligibility and payment status related matters.

Claim Status

PRECHECK = Millette has processed the claim and sent it to VitalCore for payment processing. Please contact VitalCore directly for claim/payment status for claims in precheck status.

Create an Account

Create a provider account to review claim status.

• Under the login fields, select “Click here to create an account” and enter the corresponding data to register
• *Pin numbers will be provided by Millette Administrators. Please consult with your colleagues for the Pin # before emailing MAI.*

Reset portal password

• Providers have the ability to reset their passwords using self-service. Click “Forgot your Username and Password?” to reset your password

The Status column will indicate where the claim is in the process.

• Received = Millette has received the claim, available for adjudication
• Claim Pending Review = Claim is under review with Millette and/or VitalCore
• Claim Processed = Claim has adjudicated
• Precheck = Claim has been sent to VitalCore for payment processing
• Paid = VitalCore has paid the claim

For VitalCore related State contracts, you may review claims status using our claims portal. This portal will enable you to look up your submitted claims for reimbursement, and to check their status. You will be able to view claims for patient inmates that were treated by a provider within your Tax ID. There is only one login per Tax ID. Please use the secondary link under the password field to access claim information without a login.
